Things to Do in Woodstock

Located in Southeast Portland lies Woodstock, one of the city’s oldest and most cherished neighborhoods (read our guide to Woodstock real estate for more information).

The Woodstock neighborhood is touted as being “one of the best places to live in Oregon” thanks to its highly-rated public schools and lovely parks. Woodstock Village, the pedestrian-friendly commercial heart of the neighborhood, also provides many things to do in Portland.

Enjoy Good Times, Good Tunes, Craft Beer and Pizza at Double Mountain Taproom

Located at 4336 SE Woodstock Boulevard, Double Mountain Taproom is known for serving up delicious craft beer and pizza. Their other pub fare gets good ratings too, but their pizza is a must try. Enjoy live music in the evenings, or great tunes from their “ever growing vinyl collection.”

Stroll, Picnic and Play in Woodstock Park

Grab some tasty snacks from one of the bakeries or cafes on nearby Woodstock Boulevard, and enjoy a picnic in Woodstock’s largest neighborhood park. 14-acres of greenspace, multi-use sports fields, a dog off-leash area, a children’s playground, onsite washrooms, parking, designated picnic areas and a paved walking trail make Woodstock Park an excellent destination for outdoor recreation.
