The neighborhood is bordered by Alameda and Beaumont-Wilshire to the north, Rose City Park to the east, Hollywood District, Laurelhurst, and Sullivan’s Gulch to the south, and Irvington to the west.

Since the neighborhood is right in the middle of inner NE Portland, it’s quick and easy commute into downtown Portland via the Broadway Bridge.

The Grant Park neighborhood’s main attraction is its leafy tranquility, rather than serving as a shopping destination. However, the stores and restaurants in Hollywood are just a short walk or bike ride away. Grant Park is also close to public transportation options including the MAX in Hollywood, and is served by major bus lines.

Named after the famous children’s author who has such a strong connection with the neighborhood, Beverly Cleary K-8 serves the Grant Park community. Grant High School is also located in the heart of the neighborhood.
